“There once was a girl from Dublin,
Who dabbled in some drawing,
She liked scribbles and lines most of the time,
But sometimes liked colouring in.”
What got you in to independent publishing?
I think it is a really exciting and raw way of expressing yourself with your work. Making your own collection of images is so much fun to do, it’s great to have such personal creative control of your ideas!
What do you make/publish?
I am an illustrator and designer and this zine is a documentation of my view of life over the past year.
Who/what inspires you?
I am very inspired by illustrators like Julie Verhoeven, Quinten Blake and Ralph Steadman. Colours, textured and shapes created by the everyday world around us. Working with other creatives, it’s a contagious force!
Who are your audience?
People who see the world at a bit of a slant, like I do, who don’t quite fit in with the norm, It’s ok, your not alone!
Have you exhibited at the Dublin Zine Fair before? How did it go?
No this is my first time.
Tell us a joke!
